分别于1993、1995、1998年获得学士、硕士和博士学位,1998至2001年期间先后在日本国际电气通信基础技术研究所(ATR)和澳大利亚的格里菲斯大学从事声信号处理、语音合成、语音识别等领域的研究工作。2001至2009年期间在美国的贝尔实验室从事语音信号处理与通信等领域的研发工作。2009至2010年担任WeVoice公司的首席科学家。2010年加入西北工业大学,从事MIMO信号处理、智能声学、噪声控制与消除、回声及干扰对消、麦克风阵列等领域的研究和开发工作,所开发的部分技术已成功用于无线通讯、电话会议、远程协作、智能音箱、车载交互、机器人等语音通信与交互系统之中。曾于2009年荣获IEEE信号处理学会最佳论文奖,2007和2009年两次获得贝尔实验室模范团队奖,2011年在IEEE WASPAA国际会议上荣获会议最佳论文奖,所指导的博士研究生发表的一篇期刊论文于2016年获得IEEE亚太区学生优秀论文一等奖。曾于1998年获得日本高技术中心人才基金的资助,2014年获得基金委“杰出青年科学基金”的资助。现已出版专著13部、在信号处理领域的国际著名学术刊物和会议上发表论文200余篇,拥有30余项发明专利。

 

Prof. CHEN Jingdong received his bachelor’s, Master’s and phD degrees in 1993, 1995 and 1998, respectively. From 1998 to 2001, he was engaged in the research of acoustic signal processing, speech synthesis, speech recognition at the Griffith University in Brisbane, Australia and the Advanced Telecommunications Research Institute International (ATR) in Kyoto, Japan. From 2001 to 2009, he was a Member of Technical Staff with Bell Laboratories, USA, working on acoustic signal processing for telecommunications. From 2009 to 2010, he served as the Chief Scientist of WeVoice Inc. In 2010, he has joined the Northwestern Polytechnical University, Xi’an, China, working on the problems of MIMO Signal Processing, Intelligent acoustics, noise reduction, echo cancellation, microphone array processing, which have been successfully used in voice communication and interaction systems such as telecommunications, teleconferencing, remote collaboration, intelligent speakers, vehicle interaction, robots. Prof. CHEN Jingdong received the IEEE Signal Processing Society Best Paper Award in 2009, the Bell LabsRole Model Teamwork Award twice, respectively, in 2009 and 2007, the best paper award from the IEEE Workshop on Applications of Signal Processing to Audio and Acoustics (WASPAA) in 2011. His Ph.D graduate student published a journal paper which received the IEEE Region 10 (Asia-Pacific) 2016 Distinguished Student Paper Award (First Prize). He was also a recipient of the Japan Trust International Research Grant from the Japan Key Technology Center in 1998 and the “Distinguished Young Scientists Fund” from the National Natural Science Foundation of China in 2014. He has authored and co-authored 13 monograph books and published more than 200 papers in international well-known academic journals and conferences in the field of signal processing. He also hold more than 30 patents.
