Mr. QI Jiakun
高级工程师 | 中国电子学会声频工程分会委员
Primary Wuhan radio factory
Mr. QI Jia-kun was born in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, China, in March 1941. He is a Senior Engineer, member of Audio Engineering Section of Acoustics Society of China/ the Chinese Institute of Electronics.
He studied Physics in his undergraduate studies at the Central China Normal College (now Central China Normal University) between 1959 and 1964. He studied radio technology from 1962 to 1964. After graduation in 1964, he engaged in electronic product design and development and management at a radio factory in Wuhan. He retired in 2001.
With nearly 40 years of practical work in Wuhan, the main products of his design and development are as follows: He successfully designed and produced a high-fidelity 50-watt tube amplifier for Wuhan Theatre in 1964; He successfully designed and manufactured a single output 500-watt tube broadcasting amplifier for Wuchang Shipyard in 1965; He designed and manufactured FM radio receiver for Hubei Radio Station in 1970; He successfully designed and manufactured the 20-watt navigation station for the Airborne from 1970 to 1972. After 1973, he turned into radio and television audio products’ design, prototype and mass production. He made trial design of 12-inch black and white TV that consumed less than 20 watts. Then in mass production, every time sample reliability test was qualified by the supervising department. In 1990, he designed development and production of audio-system for Dragon car, implementing Germany's Volkswagen 972 standard. The audio-system was assessed as meeting the standard required at the national quality inspection center. In 1997, he developed SCA receiver technology for traffic receivers. Since 2000, he has involved in the EDA circuit simulation technology. Since 2001, he has worked for Rui Feng Co.,Ltd and Jungson Co.,Ltd successively as technical advisor, and implemented electronic product reliability design and management. With application of EDA circuit simulation technology, he efficiently and effectively developed electronic, electroacoustic products for related companies. In 2008, he was invited by the South China University of Technology Institute to teach professional power amplifier’s design and development by circuit simulation with EDA technology for Hong Kong VTech Company’s senior engineers. Such training has received good results.
