Prof. Weikang Jiang

Dr. Weikang Jiang is a distinguished professor in Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Dr. Jiang is the director of Noise and Vibration Control Committee of China Society of Vibration Engineering, and the director of Computational Acoustics Branch of China Acoustical Society. He graduated in 1982 and got the Ph.D. degree on 1990 at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He has been teaching in the Institute of Vibration, Shock and Noise since 1990. Dr. Jiang promoted as a full professor on 1998, and served as the director from 2017 to 2023, a deputy director of the State Laboratory of Mechanical Systems and Vibration.  His academic research is on sound field visualization, acoustic calculation method and noise reduction. He completed 2 key and 5 general NSFC funding, and had more than 100 SCI journal publication. Dr. Jiang won the first Prize of Science and Technology Invention in Shanghai and 3 other technology awards from the government.
