Dr. Matthias Wegerhoff

Dr. Matthias Wegerhoff graduated in mechanical engineering at the University of Excellence RWTH. Dr. Wegerhoff started his career at a research institute of RWTH in Aachen. There he was team leader and then chief engineer for 3 years at the Institute for Machine Elements and Systems Engineering. During this time, Dr. Wegerhoff managed engineering services and research projects mainly in the field of structural dynamics and acoustics. The projects involved experimental investigations, numerical simulations, and a combination of both. In parallel, he completed his doctoral degree on numerical simulation of the structural dynamics of electric drives in 2017. He joined HEAD acoustics in 2017 and has held the role of Managing Director of the Research, Development and Engineering Services departments since 2023. Dr. Wegerhoff is responsible for the entire product development at HEAD acoustics.
