Mr. Balazs Kakonyi

Balazs Kakonyi is a Senior Principal Engineer of Acoustics at JBL Professional. He grew up in Hungary and studied Electrical Engineering in Budapest. He holds a master's degree in Electro-Acoustics from Le Mans University in France. He started his professional career interning at Klippel GmbH in Dresden, Germany. He joined Harman International in 2015 and has held various positions as a Transducer and Acoustics Engineer since then.Since 2019, Balazs Kakonyi has been part of the JBL Professional Engineering team in Northridge, CA, United States. His work focuses on the design of next-generation professional transducers and signal processing algorithms for developing and benchmarking transducers and loudspeaker systems. He is involved in developing new products, platforms, and technologies for simulating, designing, and measuring transducers and loudspeaker systems.
