Distinguished Researcher and PhD Supervisor of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), Deputy Director of the Institute of Acoustics, CAS, and concurrently Vice Dean of the School of Electronic, Electrical and Communication Engineering, University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS). He has received two provincial and ministerial second prizes, special government allowance from the State Council, and been honored as “Zhu Liyuehua Excellent Teacher” and “Outstanding Supervisor” by CAS. He has published over 600 academic papers (more than 400 of which were indexed by SCI/EI and core journals), one monograph, one compilation, and delivered five invited keynote speeches at international conferences. He has obtained over 80 authorized invention patents, formulated 6 national standards, and a number of patented technologies have been industrialized. Currently, he serves as Vice President and Secretary General of the Chinese Acoustical Society (CAS), Chairman of the Audio Engineering Branch, Vice President of the China Musical Instruments Association, Vice President of the International Institute of Noise Control Engineering (IINCE), and a Fellow of the Chinese Acoustical Society, the Chinese Institute of Electronics, and the International Institute of Acoustics and Vibration (IIAV).
