Dr. Jun Yang is the deputy director of the Institute of acoustics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the vice president of the school of electronic, electrical and communication engineering of the University of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. He graduated from the Department of Electronic Science and engineering and the Institute of acoustics of Nanjing University in 1996 with a doctor of Science degree. From 1996 to 1998, he worked as a postdoctoral fellow in the Institute of acoustics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. In May, 1998, he left the post doctoral station and stayed in the Institute as an associate researcher. From May 1999 to March 2007, he was engaged in acoustic and signal processing research at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, and successively served as research fellow, teaching fellow, assistant professor and associate professor. In 2004, he received the preferential support of "introducing foreign outstanding talents" from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and worked as a researcher and doctoral supervisor in the Institute of acoustics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences to carry out research on intelligent control of sound field.


He has been engaged in the research of acoustics and signal information processing for a long time, published more than 400 academic papers, made 5 invited reports at international conferences, authorized more than 70 invention patents, and formulated 5 national standards. At present, he is the executive deputy secretary general, executive director and member of the Chinese acoustic society, the chairman of the audio engineering branch / Industry Promotion Committee, the director and member of the Chinese electronic society, the director and member of the international society of sound and vibration, the vice president of the Chinese musical instrument Association, and the vice president of the Beijing acoustic society.
