Prof. DU Gonghuan

Prof. DU Gong-huan, graduated from the Department of physics of Nanjing University in 1957, and stayed to teach. In 1993, he was qualified as a doctoral supervisor by the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council.

He is the author of the main textbook in the field of acoustics "Fundamentals of acoustics" (published in three editions). He has long been committed to the research of physical acoustics, nonlinear acoustics and chaos theory and its applications in acoustic systems. He has visited the University of Tennessee, the University of Vermont, the National Center for physical acoustics (NCPA) and other institutions for research. He has published more than 100 papers, of which more than 40 are included in SCI.
