Event Description

In the electroacoustic industry, standards are not just documents—they serve as a "common language" for communication in R&D, testing, procurement, and collaboration. Without a unified language, even the best technologies may struggle to align in terms of "granularity" during cooperation. Today, amid significant changes in the industrial structure, the industry standard SJ 2199 Terminology for Electroacoustic Deviceshas undergone its first comprehensive revision in over four decades. This marks a pivotal moment of "language upgrade" for the entire electroacoustic industry.

Therefore, to promote the widespread adoption of the revised terminology for electroacoustic devices and enhance communication efficiency across the industry, the 11th International Symposium on ElectroAcoustic Technologies (ISEAT) is launching a pre-conference event—the SJ 2199 Terminology for Electroacoustic DevicesQuiz Competition.

Let’s take action together, make good use of the updated and improved terminology for electroacoustic devices, and enable smoother collaboration everywhere.

Quiz Competition Rules

The conference will release multiple sets of questions in batches. Each participant may answer one or more sets. The winner of each set will be the one with the most correct answers.

The conference will publish a leaderboard from time to time.

What Are the Prizes?

To be revealed in August (a big surprise!).
